PS4 jailbreak development has moved quickly in 2026, with public exploit support now reaching firmware 13.52.
Before trying anything, you first need to know exactly which firmware your PS4 is running.
CHECK YOUR PS4 FIRMWARE
On your PS4, go to:
Settings > System > System Information
Look for "System Software."
You will see a number such as:
9.00
11.00
12.02
13.50
13.52
That number determines which jailbreak methods are available.
CAN YOUR PS4 BE JAILBROKEN?
As of 20 September 2026, ConsoleMods lists PS4 firmware 13.52 as the latest publicly exploitable firmware.
If you are on:
13.52 or lower — A public jailbreak method may be available for your firmware.
Above 13.52 — There is currently no equivalent public jailbreak documented.
However, different firmware versions use different exploits, so always check compatibility for your exact version.
WHAT ABOUT GOLDHEN?
GoldHEN is the popular PS4 homebrew environment that provides features including homebrew applications, plugins, FTP, debug options, cheats and other tools.
GoldHEN v2.4b18.11 now supports firmware 13.52.
Importantly, this particular release currently supports 13.52 specifically.
SiSTRo, GoldHEN's developer, says support for other 13.xx firmware versions is coming in future releases.
